Maverick Trading in Charlotte, NC seeks a quantitative pairs trader to run market-neutral stat-arb strategies on US equities. You will work with pairs within sectors, basket trades, and divergence trades driven by mean-reversion signals.
This is a deeply statistical role, not just chart watching; expect to implement tests, manage risk, and contribute to firm-level Sharpe. Strong Python/R skills and comfort with Excel are essential for success.
