Our client, a fast-growing company, is seeking an experienced tax professional specializing in international and corporate taxation, with a strong understanding of tax risk management, economic substance requirements, and international corporate structures.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in international tax planning and complex cross-border structuring, along with the ability to develop, document, and defend sophisticated technical tax positions, including during tax audits and examinations.

Qualifications:

• 100% remote position;
• Lawyer or Tax Accountant with significant experience in international and corporate taxation;
• Member in good standing of a Canadian provincial Bar or holder of a recognized tax accounting designation;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Strategic, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented professional, capable of managing complex international tax matters while maintaining defensible tax positions;
• Innovative thinker with the ability to develop optimized tax solutions beyond traditional planning approaches.

Language Requirement
This position requires excellent proficiency in both English and French, as the successful candidate will be required to provide services in English to clients and various stakeholders involved in the files.
