This full-time Financial Services Professional role is a hybrid position based in Ridgeland, MS, allowing some work from home flexibility. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their financial goals and providing comprehensive guidance in areas such as insurance, investments, and retirement planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing personalized financial strategies, presenting suitable product solutions, and regularly reviewing clients' plans to adapt to changing needs.
The Financial Services Professional will also build and maintain long-term client relationships, manage a growing book of business, and collaborate with internal teams to stay informed on industry trends, compliance requirements, and New York Life offerings. Ongoing training, professional development, and support are provided to help the Financial Services Professional grow a successful and ethical practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge or strong interest in Financial Planning, Finance, and Financial Services.
- Ability to guide clients through Retirement Planning and long-term wealth accumulation strategies.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, client education, and clear presentation of complex information.
- Relevant education or experience in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical standards, client-focused service, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and build a client base through networking and relationship-building.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain applicable insurance and securities licenses as required.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and virtual meeting platforms to support a hybrid work environment.
