Job Title:
Remote Escrow Processing Specialist (MUST HAVE PAST ESCROW EXPERIENCE)
Location: 100% Remote (Preference for candidates located in WA, TX, FL, OR, , or AZ and able to work Pacific Time business hours)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Escrow Processing Specialist to join our centralized operations team. This fully remote position plays a key role in providing clerical and operational support for escrow transactions, with a focus on document management from initiation through closing. By centralizing these processes, you'll help ensure our branches can focus on customer service while you handle high-volume escrow processing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide centralized support for escrow openings, Closing Disclosure preparation and balancing, and closing-related processing activities.
- Review and balance lender and escrow Closing Disclosures, identifying discrepancies related to fees and amounts.
- Interpret and process lender instructions, settlement documents, and escrow file information to ensure accurate and timely closings.
- Coordinate with escrow teams to support efficient transaction processing.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance with all escrow procedures and regulations.
- Use independent judgment and problem-solving skills for complex assignments, seeking guidance for unfamiliar issues as needed.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting established turnaround times in a high-volume workflow.
- Maintain organized records and clear written communications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in escrow processing is required.
- Strong experience balancing Closing Disclosures and reviewing lender documentation is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with lender closing instructions and settlement figures is highly desirable.
- Prior First American experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of escrow process, related regulations, and documentation.
- Demonstrated mathematical accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical ability.
- Proficient in Adobe (including PDF editing).
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with team members.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 100% remote position (must reside in WA, TX, FL, OR, , or AZ).
- Must be available to work during Pacific Time business hours.
