Are you a detail-oriented individual motivated by meaningful public service? California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking an enthusiastic Analyst II to join our Retirement Benefit Services Division. Be part of a mission-driven team that values integrity and quality service, helping us deliver accurate benefits to California's public employees and their families.
Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II is responsible for addressing post retirement service retirement inquiries, completing service retirement adjustments, and calculating retirement benefits to ensure CalPERS retirees receive a timely and accurate final benefit payment.
The Analyst II Is Responsible For:
- Researching, analyzing, and completing a full range of benefit calculation related assignments
- Resolving complex member and employer intiated inquiries
- Working with stakeholders to obtain required information needed to process service retirement adjustments
- Partnering with other CalPERS program areas to verify the accuracy of membership enrollment and compensation reporting
