Role Description This full-time hybrid Financial Advisor role is based in Southfield, MI, with flexibility for some work from home. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, develop comprehensive financial and retirement plans, and recommend investment strategies aligned with each client’s risk tolerance and time horizon. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial information, preparing customized proposals, conducting portfolio reviews, and providing ongoing advisory support.

The role involves maintaining regular client contact, ensuring a high standard of service, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial wellbeing. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with colleagues, adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, and participate in business development activities such as networking, seminars, and community events.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to create comprehensive strategies and provide ongoing guidance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to analyze markets, evaluate products, and construct suitable portfolios.
• Candidates should possess skills in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare for and manage income needs throughout retirement.
• Relevant licenses or credentials (such as FINRA registrations, state insurance licenses, CFP or similar designations) are strongly preferred or required, depending on duties.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and comply with regulatory and firm policies.
• Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, or related fields, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline are beneficial.
