I can succeed as a Core Ops Corporate Actions Analyst

The Corporate Actions & Reference Data Analyst supports Capital Group’s investment process by managing the operational lifecycle of corporate action events and maintaining high-quality security master and reference data across global markets. The role helps ensure that securities positions, investment decisions, accounting records, valuations, compliance processes, regulatory reporting, and operational activities accurately reflect corporate action impacts and reliable reference data attributes.

This hybrid role serves as a subject matter expert across either Corporate Actions or Reference Data, with the ability and expectation to develop working knowledge across the complementary domain. The Analyst partners closely with the Investment Group, Trading, Compliance, Legal, Accounting, Valuation, Tax, Technology, custodians, market data vendors, and other Investment Operations teams to resolve issues, improve processing quality, and mitigate operational risk.

Summary

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in Corporate Actions and/or Reference Data processes and applies sound judgment, business acumen, and operational expertise to research, analyze, assess, recommend, and implement solutions. The Analyst may serve as a primary reviewer of team deliverables, oversee more complex responsibilities, and act as a technical resource for other team members.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex and ambiguous situations across multiple stakeholders, systems, asset classes, and operational processes. The Analyst is expected to support day‑to‑day execution, exception management, stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, process improvement, and project‑related activities.
