Insuring Technician is responsible for the review and endorsement of closed government loans, as well as providing customer service to our branch staff, file management, processing various payments, creating reports for various agencies, and contacting government agencies, when necessary, completes loan close out of repair loans, contacts third parties for various documentation, fee reconciliation for title and recording charges at time of loan closing.

Works closely with internal departments, ensures strict turn times for all tasks associated with this role. Will assist the Government Insuring Manager as necessary for special projects.

High School Diploma/GED equivalent, two years office/clerical experience; any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. We prefer the applicant to work on site at corporate office, but remote work at one of our many branch locations could be considered. If remote work at branch location is arranged a one-week of onsite training at corporate office is required.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The pay range for this role is $16.90 to $20.83 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime is paid in accordance with California state and federal labor laws. Additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, may be available based on performance and business needs.

This position is classified as at-will employment in accordance with California law. Employment may be terminated by either the employer or employee at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.

This position is primarily based in our office located at 1200 Discovery Dr. Bakersfield, Ca 93309. Regular in-office attendance is required during standard business hours.
