Senior Consultant – Financial Transactions & Accounting. You’ll work with top-tier clients across industries - multinationals, banks, and government entities. You’re not just executing tasks, you’re leading work streams, shaping recommendations, and driving change in treasury organizations.
Job descriptionWe are seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in financial transactions, treasury management systems, and accounting advisory. In this role, you will advise clients on optimizing their treasury operations, cash management, and transaction accounting processes, while ensuring compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and best practices. You will work closely with CFOs, Treasurers, and finance teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from system implementation and integration to technical accounting guidance for complex treasury transactions.
Responsibilities- Lead client engagements focused on treasury management systems (TMS) implementation, configuration, and optimization.
- Advise on accounting treatment for cash, liquidity, hedging, financial instruments, and intercompany transactions.
- Support clients with treasury transformation projects, including process automation and system enhancements.
- Provide technical expertise on treasury-related accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated consulting solutions.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development.
- Experience in financial services or corporate treasury environment
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
- System/software implementation experience
- Exposure to financial instruments including derivatives, funding, and investments
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
CertificationsCFA, CPA, or CTP certification is preferred
