Hexagon Financial Services specializes in business owners, managers, and high net-worth individuals, focusing on maximizing client portfolios while optimizing costs. The company also emphasizes financial education and development, offering guidance to both established and lower-income clients with the support of specialists such as actuaries, lawyers, accountants, and Certified Financial Planners.
This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Randburg with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Advisor will meet with individual and corporate clients to assess their financial goals, analyze existing portfolios, and recommend tailored solutions in areas such as investments, retirement planning, risk cover, and wealth preservation. Daily activities include preparing and presenting financial plans, conducting regular portfolio reviews, and re-quoting existing premiums to improve cost efficiency.
The role involves staying current with industry regulations and product offerings, collaborating with internal specialists, and maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with compliance requirements. The Financial Advisor is also expected to contribute to client financial education initiatives and support business growth through active prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
- Demonstrated skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to develop comprehensive, client-centered financial strategies.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, including risk assessment, portfolio construction, and product comparison.
- Experience in Retirement Planning, with competence in long‑term savings strategies and retirement income solutions.
- Strong client relationship management, communication, and presentation skills, with a commitment to ethical, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory service.
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., Certified Financial Planner or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Knowledge of South African financial regulations and products, with prior experience in insurance or wealth management considered beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time and priorities independently, and collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists.
