This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Fulfilment Officer based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to support the end-to-end administration of residential mortgage transactions in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will review and process mortgage documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance at every stage.

Working across internal teams, you will help resolve issues, manage priorities, and deliver responsive service to stakeholders and customers.

The position requires strong organization and attention to detail while handling high volumes and time-sensitive requests.

You will also contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies that enhance the customer experience.

Success in this role comes from combining sound judgment, collaboration, and a consistent commitment to quality.

This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity open to candidates in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.

Accountabilities:
  • Review residential mortgage documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, and establish and manage new mortgage business and related financial transactions.
  • Process mortgage transactions and documentation throughout the lifecycle, from initial application through instructions to lawyers and notaries.
  • Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve documentation or processing issues, make informed decisions, and maintain accountability for outcomes.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal departments by providing responsive service, supporting urgent requests, and helping teams manage fluctuating workloads.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and contribute to the implementation of operational improvements.
  • Support escalated issues and complaints with a strong focus on customer experience and appropriate resolution.
  • Follow established policies, standards, documentation requirements, and procedures related to mortgage discharges and other transactions.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, service quality, and turnaround expectations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector, ideally with exposure to residential mortgages or related operations.
  • Strong ability to understand and accurately interpret legal mortgage documentation and apply relevant policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, including the confidence to address issues and influence appropriate outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while remaining composed and maintaining quality standards.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours during peak periods and manage changing priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to contribute positively to a diverse and professional team environment.
  • General knowledge of the residential mortgage industry and mortgage underwriting practices is an asset.

  • Competitive base salary range of $45,900–$76,500 CAD annually
