Senior Commercial Program Underwriter - Remote

This role supports Mobilitas' programs in the sharing economy and mobility market, including ride-sharing, on-demand and last-mile delivery, autonomous vehicles, and related mobility segments.

Your work includes:

• Program Strategy, Development & Launch
• Program Governance & Delegated Authority Oversight
• Underwriting Stewardship
• Portfolio Performance & Profitability
• Relationship Management
• Regulatory, Compliance & Risk Management

Required experience, education and skills include:

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 8+ years of increasingly responsible commercial insurance, underwriting, or delegated authority / program management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of delegated authority oversight, governance, and commercial underwriting.
• Advanced financial analysis, portfolio management, and profitability-evaluation skills.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional partners and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong due diligence, business-case development, and program-onboarding skills.
• Skilled negotiator and superb communication and presentation skills with both internal and external partners.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and contractual requirements applicable to delegated authority programs.

• Advanced degrees preferred.
• Relevant industry designations (eg. CPCU, AU, ARe) preferred.
• In-depth experience underwriting, developing, or managing programs in the sharing economy and mobility market across multiple segments.
• Demonstrated experience assessing and structuring coverage for other emerging or specialty risk areas, including navigating limited loss history and evolving regulation.
