The Investment Banking Associate is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The associate will support transaction execution across M&A and capital raising mandates, including building detailed financial models, preparing valuation analyses, and drafting client presentations and marketing materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting industry and company research, participating in due diligence processes, analyzing financial statements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
The associate will help manage deal workflows, track key deliverables, and contribute to strategic recommendations for clients in the digital gaming sector. This role offers exposure to senior leadership and direct involvement in high-impact transactions for emerging and established gaming companies.
- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, market trends, and business performance.
- Candidates should possess Financial Modeling skills, including building integrated forecasts, transaction models, and scenario analyses.
- Candidates should possess Valuation skills, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analysis.
- Candidates should possess Due Diligence capabilities, including reviewing financial statements, operational data, and legal and commercial information.
- Relevant experience (2–4 years) in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related fields, ideally with exposure to gaming, technology, or digital media.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, MBA) are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear presentations and explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working in a small-team environment, with a collaborative mindset, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical, inclusive practices.
