Venture Science is a growth-stage investment firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area that applies quantitative decision principles, including stochastic finance and multi-factor analysis, to venture capital investing. The firm focuses on technology sectors such as storage, networking, security, social, mobile, apps, gaming, cloud, big data, hardware, wearables, VR, drone tech, ecommerce, payments, marketplaces, and life sciences and biotechnology.

Venture Science is spinning out Deal Panel — its in‑house AI‑powered investor outreach platform that gives anyone raising capital, from investment deal sponsors to startup founders pitching investors, one professional place to share their data with the people writing the checks. It replaces the scattered PDFs, email threads, and clunky data rooms that slow deals down today.

Incubated inside Venture Science and proven in‑house, Deal Panel is now becoming its own venture — and we’re looking for a co‑founder to own the other half of the business: growth and capital.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Sausalito, CA, part‑time remote work is possible.

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to understand portfolios, market trends, and quantitative investment frameworks.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present complex concepts clearly, prepare investor materials, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to drive fundraising efforts, nurture investor pipelines, and support the firm’s positioning in the market.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity, or institutional investing, especially in technology or life sciences sectors, is highly beneficial.
• Proven track record in investor relations, capital raising, or business development, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
• Comfort working in a founder‑level capacity, with a collaborative mindset, high accountability, and interest in long‑term equity participation.
