Role Description

The Financial Advisor Associate/Trainee role is a full-time position based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. This role involves meeting clients to understand their financial goals and needs, conducting financial reviews, and recommending appropriate insurance and financial planning solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial plans, analyzing client portfolios, supporting retirement and investment strategies, and ensuring ongoing client servicing and follow-up.

The associate/trainee will participate in training programs, mentoring sessions, and team meetings to develop advisory skills and product knowledge. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, adhering to regulatory requirements, and contributing to business development activities such as networking and client acquisition.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and present complex financial information clearly.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical financial advice.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is advantageous; relevant certifications (e.g., CMFAS) are a plus.
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in financial services and openness to continuous learning and training.
