We are currently looking for a Revenue Manager to join our team in Bloomfield Hills, MI! Revenue Managers are responsible for supporting the Executive Director of Revenue in developing and executing revenue strategies that optimize rental income and financial performance through the management of the revenue management system and the implementation of revenue focused programs. This role helps ensure pricing and revenue decisions align with the company's overall operational objectives through data-driven analysis and collaboration.
The Revenue Manager partners closely with Operations, Marketing, and senior leadership to balance occupancy and rent growth. This role analyzes market conditions, demand trends, and property performance to establish effective pricing, concessions, and revenue strategies. This includes monitoring key revenue metrics, identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to improve community and portfolio performance.
What are the responsibilities of the Revenue Manager?
- Strategize successful processes to optimize performance through identified efficiencies and opportunities.
- Present accurate market analysis to support community strategies.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Articulate the revenue management value proposition and develop credibility for its concepts and benefits across the organization.
- Conduct daily review of rate recommendations for both new leases and renewals.
- Lead pricing calls to evaluate asset performance, identify potential risks, and provide solutions.
- Facilitate regular conversation with Regional and Community Managers related to pricing questions. This includes observations on staffing, curb appeal, and marketing efforts.
- Conduct monthly performance measurement analysis and reporting to senior leaders regarding performance results, revenue management adoption behavior, leasing velocity and market conditions.
- Collaborate with other teams as needed to facilitate overall success.
- Perform price renewals and coach community teams through pricing recommendations.
- Coach operations team on revenue management concepts.
- Continue to self-educate on industry and team related policies and procedures.
What are the role requirements?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of multi-family revenue management, asset management or market research experience is preferred.
- Experience with multi-family revenue management, business intelligence and benchmarking is preferred.
- Experience delivering professional presentations and communicating with senior executives.
- Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Advanced technical and analytical skills in Microsoft Excel are preferred.
- Ability to adapt and work well in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours at times depending on workload.
- Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with others.
- Must possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to balance and prioritize simultaneous projects and tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must present the ability to execute job duties under stressful circumstances such as last-minute deadlines or other difficult situations.
- Must be willing to travel to various locations via private or public air transportation and locations within driving distance via car.

- Regular attendance, work ethic and strong interpersonal skills are required for success in this position.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
