The Capital Raising professional will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and maintaining relationships with investors and capital partners to support Emac Financial’s lending activities. This full-time role will focus on identifying new funding opportunities, preparing investor presentations and financial materials, and coordinating due diligence processes. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, collaborating with internal teams to structure financing products, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
The position is hybrid, based in Los Angeles, CA, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility to meet business and client needs.
- Strong skills in investor relations, capital sourcing, and fundraising strategies for debt and equity financing.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation of lending and investment opportunities.
- Experience preparing pitch decks, offering memoranda, and other capital markets and marketing materials.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial lending products, including FHA/VA, conventional mortgages, and investment property financing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with institutional and individual investors.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced credentials (e.g., CFA, MBA) are a plus.
- Prior experience in mortgage lending, private credit, investment banking, or real estate finance is strongly preferred.
