Financial Specialist - Loss Prevention; Nike

We are looking for a Loss Prevention & Finance Coordinator to join Nike at their EMEA headquarters (Hilversum). In this full-time position, you will be the key link between the Loss Prevention and Finance departments, ensuring smooth administrative operations for Nike stores across the region. You are a true problem solver with a passion for numbers. You know exactly how financial processes like a month-end or quarter-end close work. Keeping a clear overview is natural to you and you are very accurate. You know how to turn complex data into clear insights using Excel. Furthermore, you communicate easily with both colleagues and external vendors. You are a fast learner, proactive and you quickly master new systems.

• Financial background:
  You ideally have a financial background and understand invoicing, payment processes, budget tracking and financial close activities (month/quarter/year-end).
• Analytic mindset & problem solver:
  You love data and have an analytical mindset. You are a natural problem solver who investigates issues and resolves billing difference efficiently.
• Communication & sell skills:
  You have strong communication and "sell" skills, allowing you to effectively influence, negotiate with and manage both internal teams and external vendors.
• Coordination:
  You excel at organizing workflows, confirm data, and keeping multiple projects on track simultaneously.
• Educated & experienced:
  You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and ideally bring experience with Coupa or similar invoice management systems.

In this role, you will act as the key business process contact between Loss Prevention and Finance. You will ensure that payment flows keep moving, data is accurate and both internal teams and external vendors are aligned.

• Invoice & payment coordination:
  Coordinate and execute daily invoice flows to ensure the continuity of store services, resolving any billing issues as they arise.
• Financial closing:
  Execute and support accurate month-end, quarter-end and financial year-end close activities.
• Stakeholder management:
  Collaborate daily with vendors and internal Nike teams to maintain strong relationships, ensure contract compliance and improve process efficiency.
• Data & budget support:
  Conduct data analysis, support budget management and translate financial information into clear summaries regarding risks and required actions.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
