The Mortgage Loan Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Central, FL, work from home. This position is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding clients through the application and approval process, and recommending appropriate loan products based on individual financial situations and goals. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and developing new business, conducting borrower interviews, collecting and reviewing documentation, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Mortgage Loan Officer will maintain ongoing communication with clients to provide status updates, answer questions, and deliver a high level of customer service from application to closing. The role also involves building relationships with referral partners, such as real estate professionals and community organizations, to expand the customer base.

• Candidates should possess experience as Loan Officers, with a proven track record in originating and managing mortgage loan pipelines.
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices, including conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products.
• Candidates should possess skills in Underwriting fundamentals, including evaluating credit, income, assets, and collateral for loan suitability.
• Candidates should possess high-quality Customer Service skills, including clear communication, client education, and relationship-building.
• State-specific mortgage loan originator licensing (or eligibility to obtain) as required by NMLS and applicable regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office responsibilities in Brandon, FL with remote work.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency with mortgage origination software and standard office applications, and comfort working in a technology-driven environment.
• Prior experience with sales or business development in financial services or real estate is beneficial.
• High school diploma required; college coursework or a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
