HSBC’s Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) – International Mid-Market (IMM) team in Qatar is looking for a high-performing Relationship Manager GCB5 to support, manage and grow a portfolio of internationally minded Corporates and with revenues from $100m to over $2bn. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients with cross-border ambitions, connecting them to HSBC’s international network and full suite of corporate banking solutions.

This Role, You Will

Expand existing client partnerships and secure new, long-term relationships aligned with HSBC’s international strategy.
Serve as a consultative partner, providing insights and guidance to help clients succeed locally and internationally.
Proactively identify and engage high-value prospects within your target market.
Collaborate with product specialists and international colleagues across HSBC’s network to deliver tailored solutions and increase share of wallet.
Own the client experience and support junior colleagues in delivering high service standards.
Proactively manage credit, operational, regulatory and financial crime risks across the portfolio.
Ensure full adherence to internal policies, controls, and external regulations.

To Be Successful, You Should Have

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in Corporate Banking managing mid-market or large corporate relationships.
Proven ability to match client needs with solutions including Treasury & Cash Management, Trade Finance, Foreign Exchange, and lending/financing.
Strong commercial acumen and awareness of economic and regulatory trends.
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated capability in commercial lending and risk assessment.
A client-centric mindset, positive attitude, and drive to deliver results.
