Polypaths Analyst

Client is an independent broker-dealer providing institutional clients with access to a premier fixed-income capital markets franchise. Their experienced team of professionals, backed by a powerful data and analytics platform, delivers customized solutions and strategy to meet our clients' investment objectives. Client is seeking an experienced Polypaths Analyst to join an agile team that supports the Polypaths Enterprise cluster. The candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, including the enterprise risk and quantitative modelling teams, and help drive data, process, and analytics automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into deliverables related to Poly Paths
• Manage multiple Poly Paths environments (DEV, UAT, PROD), working closely with the risk and quantitative modelling team on configuration and scaling.
• Participate in transaction-related model result analysis and special projects related to the calculation, storage, and use of analytic system results.
• Generate timely and accurate reporting of the results.
• Work closely with Polypaths vendor to resolve support issues.

Knowledge/

Experience:

• Prior in-depth experience with Polypaths Enterprise, and experience scaling the platform
• At least 2 years' experience with a risk / analytics team, preferably fixed income
• Prior exposure to mortgage modeling activities such as prepayment models (e.g., ADCo)
• Proficient with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Proficient with SQL and databases
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with business users and key stakeholders in the line of business.
• Fixed income a plus
• Java programming a plus
