Where you will work:

This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The contributions you will make:

This position leads the delivery of loans, leases, and other financial services to diversified agricultural clients across multiple lines of business. Directs teams responsible for business development, client satisfaction, and client loyalty. Effectively manages resources, credit administration, compliance, profitability and loan quality within various business units. Develops and implements strategies and tactics in areas of responsibility and is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing operational activities to achieve goals and objectives.

A Typical Day

Develops and executes strategic business development initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen relationships with key clients, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
Leads high-value commercial relationship management efforts by identifying new business opportunities, sourcing complex transactions, and positioning the organization as a trusted advisor within the market.
Champions a high-performing business development and sales culture by establishing clear performance expectations, fostering continuous improvement, and driving operational initiatives that maximize both organizational scalability and client growth.
Collaborates cross-functionally with executive leadership, credit, marketing, and operational teams to align business development strategies with organizational objectives and deliver integrated client solutions.
Monitors market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities, mitigate risk, and develop innovative solutions that enhance organizational competitiveness.
Oversees portfolio performance and transaction quality by supporting sound credit practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and balancing growth objectives with risk management expectations.

The Skills And Experience We Prefer You Have

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, agribusiness, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
