About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Senior Investment Banker to join their prestigious advisory team in Pretoria . This dynamic role involves advising corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financial transactions. You will be responsible for originating new business, leading transaction execution, and managing client relationships. • Originate and execute mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory mandates for corporate clients.
• Lead the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, and pitch books for client presentations.
• Manage client relationships, providing strategic financial advice and transaction support.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors throughout the deal process.
• Mentor and supervise junior members of the investment banking team.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities.

• MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory.
• Proven track record of successfully originating and executing complex financial transactions.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and corporate finance principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
