About the RoleAs an Actuarial Intern, you will work on projects directly with our actuaries and will have the opportunity to complete and present a self‑directed, business‑driven individual project to our senior leaders.

- Enhancing existing process leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI
- Building validation tools to ensure accuracy of actuarial models
- Analyzing results and trends given regulatory or product changes
- Current Junior at a 4‑year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Required to have passed at least one actuarial exam.
- High degree of self‑motivation with strong integrity and ethics.
- Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

In‑Office CollaborationWe are a client‑centric, relationship‑based business. Working together, in‑person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face‑to‑face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week.
Some roles may require additional in‑office time or different in‑office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $31.00 per hour.
We have a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location.
In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives depending on the role.
