Description
Summary:
The HLC Credit Analyst I is responsible for monitoring aspects of the Regional Bank Business Loan Portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop business credit acumen through various monitoring tasks and training.
- Work with direct manager, training team and ambassador to further develop credit skills for business underwriting career path. This will include comprehensive training on business and personal financial analysis, process and procedures, credit policy, financial ratios and business writing skills.
- Review and analyze Financial Statements/Spreads Borrowing Bases, Covenant compliance, and Waiver requests for the monitored loan portfolio.
- Manage covenant/borrowing base violations as assigned.
- Work directly with Regional Bankers, Underwriting, Regional Credit Officers and Financial Recovery Group for Customer credit worthiness review and loan compliance.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family, as well as other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience through an Internship in business or commercial related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Business/Data Analytics
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
- Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
