What role will you play?As member of Tax Reporting team with Finance & Tax division, participate in preparation of end-to-end corporate tax compliance and reporting across Americas, including assisting with submission of tax filings with strict adherence to national and international regulations, safeguarding Macquarie's reputation and financial interests; work with Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Control, and Legal Entity Controllers to understand accounting positions, transactions, and new products;
working with Tax Advisory team to review business unit transactions and positions; document tax accounting positions and create database of transactional precedents; perform reconciliation of tax accounting entries and perform in-depth analysis of deferred balances for operations in United States and Canada; and participate in continuous improvement in financial data accuracy and tax reporting efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Business, Economics, or Finance) and 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of end-to-end corporate tax reporting, preparation, and compliance experience within investment banking
- Prior experience must include 3 years documenting tax accounting positions
- 3 years performing reconciliation of tax accounting entries and performing analysis of deferred balances
- 3 years working with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
- 3 years working with Excel, BNA Bloomberg, and One Source.
Salary range for this position: $79,000 - $107,000/Year. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
