Job Description Ameriprise has an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join our team! This role is primary in the day-to-day cash management within the global Corporate Treasury Operations group which will perform daily cash management analysis, processing of domestic and international payments in various forms, cash forecasting and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures and regulatory controls.
Key Responsibilities Administer and analyze daily cash activity, cash flow reconciliations, and cash forecasting for all Ameriprise Financial corporate bank accounts by monitoring electronic files and business partner requests. Ensure that established compliance procedures and controls are being executed.
Review and process all outgoing cash transfers to ensure prompt and accurate distribution. Communicate with internal and external business partners on inquiries, issues, and escalated requests.
Cross-train for all related cash management functions to serve as an effective backup to the team as needed.
Participate in both departmental (business continuity process and disaster recovery exercises, system upgrades) as well as Corporate projects as needed.
Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent1-3 years of experience
Minimum 2+ years experience exhibiting strong analytical skills throughout progression
Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access and Word)
Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to deal effectively with business partners
Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field of study
Prior Treasury Operations experience
Experience processing of financial transactions, including domestic and FX payments, cash forecasting, and reconciliation

We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location.
In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
