The Financial Advisor / Client Service Associate is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cranford, NJ, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the schedule. This role involves providing financial guidance to clients, supporting retirement and investment planning, and assisting with the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, gathering and analyzing financial information, preparing proposals and reports, and executing investment and account service requests.
The role also includes maintaining accurate client records, responding to client inquiries, coordinating with internal teams for compliance and operations, and participating in ongoing training to stay current on products, regulations, and market developments. The associate is expected to deliver high-quality, client-centered service while adhering to firm policies and industry standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help clients define goals and design long-term strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to analyze portfolios, assess risk, and recommend appropriate investment solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Advisory to provide personalized guidance, explain complex concepts clearly, and support informed decision-making.
- Relevant professional licenses (such as FINRA Series 7 and 66 or equivalent) and life/health insurance licenses are strongly preferred or required, depending on role scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in financial services.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client relationships concurrently.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and standard office applications; comfort working in a hybrid office/remote environment.
Anticipated Compensation range: $45,000-$60,000
