An international bank, with its headquarters located in Miami, is currently searching for a Bilingual English/Spanish SBA Client Success Specialist to join the SBA Sales business unit.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities:
- Prepare SBA Term Sheets and initiate applications using the Loan Operating System.
- Develop and communicate a checklist for the initial required documentation.
- Review submitted documentation for accuracy and completeness, and request updates as necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with borrowers, brokers, and Business Development Officers, ensuring clear expectations regarding requirements and next steps.
- Assist Business Development Officers in delivering a positive customer experience.
- Conduct due diligence searches utilizing various databases, including SAM.gov, CAIVRS, UCC, Lexis Nexis, OFAC, Tax Transcripts, and Experian Credit Reports.
- Prepare and dispatch new Broker packages for bank approval.
- Order necessary third-party reports, such as Residential Appraisals, Commercial Real Estate Appraisals, Environmental Reports, Business Valuations, and Site Inspections.
- Manage invoice payments and vendor onboarding when applicable.
- Collaborate with the closing team to process withdrawn or declined loans, ensuring all origination fees are accurately captured.
- Complete thorough file reviews to ensure all required documentation meets SBA SOP requirements before submission to the SBA for approval.
- Update records within Etran for SBA submissions and review SBA Terms and Conditions.
- Maintain organized and accurate files, removing excess documents, adhering to naming conventions, and ensuring timely uploads.
- Stay current with SBA policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Update and develop procedures as necessary.
- Perform additional functions and duties as assigned.
- Availability to work core business hours in Pacific Standard Time (PST), regardless of physical location.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in SBA Originations/Packaging is essential.
- Familiarity with SBA 7a loans and Express Lines of Credit is necessary, while knowledge of 504 loans and USDA is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of SBA Standard Operating Procedures is required.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal business partners and external customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to perform independently.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to multi-task and manage various tasks and issues concurrently.
