This role requires consistent ownership of assigned work. You should be comfortable reviewing source information, checking assumptions, identifying missing or inconsistent details, and asking focused questions when clarification is needed. The goal is not simply to produce numbers or reports, but to make sure the underlying work is understandable, traceable, and useful.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and other financial information.
- Prepare recurring financial reports and explain material variances or emerging trends.
- Present financial findings in concise language that business stakeholders can act on.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with organized analysis and documentation.
- Review source data for completeness and investigate inconsistencies before reporting.
- Build and maintain spreadsheet models used for planning and scenario analysis.
Qualifications
- Strong quantitative reasoning and financial-analysis skills.
- Proficiency with microsoft excel and comfort working with financial datasets.
- Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Clear written communication and dependable remote collaboration.
- Ability to organize detailed work while meeting recurring deadlines.
