The position is based at our downtown Montréal office (hybrid).

Your role

To support our growth, we are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance (FP&A) team and help improve business performance through insightful analysis, strong financial management, and strategic partnership.

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting our Marketing team by guiding investment decisions that drive profitable growth.

What you will accomplish daily

• Lead the financial evaluation of innovation projects by developing strong business cases, building P&Ls, and providing strategic recommendations on the financial viability of new product launches.
• Own and continuously improve the innovation pipeline tracking process, ensuring accurate forecasting, stage‑gate governance, and visibility on key financial and operational performance indicators.
• Provide financial leadership throughout the innovation lifecycle by assessing performance against business case assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and issuing actionable recommendations.
• Act as a trusted business partner to Marketing teams by influencing investment decisions and providing financial insights that support brand growth, innovation priorities, and long‑term strategic objectives.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and performance analyses that provide clear insights and support decision‑making at all levels of the organization.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance reporting processes, analytical tools, and data management practices.
• Collaborate with and influence cross‑functional stakeholders across Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to align assumptions, timelines, and financial objectives while driving successful business outcomes.

What you need to join our team

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• CPA / CMA designation is an asset
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience, including 2–4 years as a financial partner to Sales or Marketing teams, or in a related analytical role
• Experience building financial models, business cases, and profitability analyses to support decision‑making
• Ability to translate financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with SAP, Excel Cubes, or similar systems is considered an asset
