Investment Analyst; remote Job UAE/Dubai,Finance & Banking

Position: INVESTMENT ANALYST (100% remote)

We are seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Investment Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating, and monitoring investments—primarily within the fintech and blockchain space. The position requires independent judgment, rigorous due diligence, and the ability to synthesize complex financial and technological data into clear, actionable investment recommendations for the Fund's Investment Committee.

Key Responsibilities Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence

Conduct thorough fundamental analysis and valuation of prospective investments across a range of deal structures.
Perform independent due diligence on investment memos originating from various investment vehicles, including financial, operational, market, and technological assessments.
Evaluate business models, unit economics, competitive positioning, regulatory environment, and technology viability—particularly for blockchain-enabled fintech solutions.
Prepare comprehensive investment recommendation memoranda with clear rationale, risk assessment, and exit strategy for submission to the Investment Committee.

Portfolio Monitoring & Performance Analysis

Maintain an ongoing review of the existing portfolio, tracking key performance indicators, financial metrics, and milestone delivery.
Produce independent performance analyses on a regular cadence, highlighting deviations from projections, value-creation drivers, and areas of concern.
Identify underperforming positions and recommend corrective actions or divestment strategies to the Investment Committee.

Market & Sector Intelligence

Track developments in the global and regional fintech/blockchain landscape, identifying emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and new investment opportunities.
Build and maintain financial models to support forward-looking scenarios and sensitivity analyses.
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CPA or CFA designation strongly preferred.
4–7 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, venture capital, or related roles.
Demonstrated expertise in:
Fundamental financial analysis and company valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, venture valuation methods).
Due diligence for early-stage and growth-stage investments.
Deep knowledge of the fintech and blockchain sector, including familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, regulatory frameworks, and distributed ledger technologies.
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation software/tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), Spanish as a plus.
