- 5+ years of experience as an MLO with an active NMLS license
- 5+ years of sales experience or relevant financial loan experience at a commercial bank, credit union, mortgage company, or other financial institution.
- Originates and processes mortgage loan applications from initial contact to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FNMA, fair housing, and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilizes Loan Origination System (LOS) to input data, run pre-qualifications, and manage pipeline; reviews documents and performs underwriting support as needed.
- Conducts financial analysis, calculates debt-to-income ratios, and communicates loan options and conditions clearly to clients.
- Builds relationships with borrowers, real estate professionals, and partners; negotiates terms and coordinates closing activities to secure timely funding.
- Maintains thorough records, adheres to compliance standards, and provides high-quality customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.
