Program Overview The  Starr Global Associates Program is a dynamic, accelerated training program designed to identify, cultivate, and retain high-potential college graduates. This program offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and build a strong foundation in the insurance industry.

The Finance Development Associate at Starr will participate in a dynamic rotational program designed to cultivate leaders for our Finance organization. This early-career role provides in-depth exposure to the key financial operations that drive success in the insurance industry, including financial planning & analysis, treasury, strategy & transformation, investment operations, controllership, and risk management. Associates join a collaborative environment, work alongside top industry professionals, and take part in projects crucial to Starr's profitability and growth initiatives.

The Finance Development Program is designed to provide broad exposure to various functions within the Finance Department. Through a structured rotational program, the Associate will gain valuable experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, corporate finance, and other specialty areas. The program focuses on developing core technical skills, business/insurance acumen, and leadership abilities necessary for a successful finance career within the organization.

• Participate in rotational assignments across various finance functions (e.g., FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Finance Strategy and Systems).
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Conduct financial modeling, data analysis, and research to support business decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on projects such as process improvement, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and organizational policies.
• Present findings and recommendations to finance leaders and management.
• Attend training sessions and development workshops to enhance finance and leadership competencies.
• Perform ad hoc tasks and participate in special projects as assigned.

  Participate in home office visits to New York City for hands‑on training, management discussions, and team‑building social events.
• Cross‑Departmental Learning:
