About the RoleAs part of an industry-leading team within Alight Financial Advisors, you will help employees improve their financial confidence, retirement readiness, and overall financial wellbeing through engaging education and personalized support.
The Financial Education Consultant delivers financial education programs, retirement plan education, and financial wellness workshops for employees of Alight clients. This role partners with client organizations to increase employee engagement, understanding and utilization of retirement benefits and financial planning resources.
This role is a hybrid position and requires the ability to work from a client office location in Indianapolis on a regular basis. The role may also be performed remotely when not onsite.
Deliver Financial Education Programs- Deliver financial education in the form of individual meetings, group presentations and benefits fair tabling events for plan participants in onsite and virtual settings.
- Explain retirement plan features, available resources, and financial wellbeing programs.
- Tailor educational presentations, workshop materials, and recorded learning content to the specific client.
- Educate participants on how to use retirement plan benefits and financial planning tools effectively.
- Help participants:
- Establish financial goals.
- Evaluate their current retirement strategy.
- Develop savings and investment approaches.
- Utilize available resources to improve overall financial wellbeing.
- Prepare monthly activity reports summarizing sessions conducted, attendance, topics covered, and participant feedback.
- Develop new educational content and continuously enhance existing workshops and learning materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve participant engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to support successful program delivery.
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with client contacts and colleagues.
- Work onsite at client offices in the Indianapolis area on a regular basis to support educational programs and client objectives.
- Travel to additional client locations as needed to support business requirements, educational events, and client engagement activities.
