Every investment Duende makes or manages needs to be formed, funded, administered and reported on with precision. This role works with our Head of Operations to build the operational backbone across SPVs, fund commitments and the broader investment platform.

Duende Capital is a private markets investment firm specializing in venture secondaries and other access-constrained technology investments. Over the past 12 months, Duende has deployed more than $125 million across AI, defense, space, robotics, fintech and industrial technology. We invest from our balance sheet into select companies and venture funds, and invest alongside a global network of family offices, founders, executives and institutional capital partners through purpose-built vehicles.

As deal volume grows, the firm's ability to close quickly and administer investments cleanly is a meaningful competitive advantage. You will help own the end-to-end lifecycle of Duende's investment vehicles and fund commitments, manage key service-provider relationships, and build the reporting and control infrastructure that lets the investing and investor-relations teams move quickly without sacrificing precision.

• Manage the full lifecycle of SPVs and other investment vehicles: formation, subscription documents, closings, capital calls, distributions and wind-downs
• Own day-to-day relationships with fund administrators, auditors, tax preparers and outside legal counsel
• Build and maintain the investor reporting cadence, including capital account statements, K-1 coordination, portfolio data and periodic updates
• Coordinate regulatory filings, KYC/AML and other compliance processes with outside counsel and service providers
• Build scalable systems across data rooms, CRM, portfolio records and reporting dashboards that keep pace with growing deal volume
• Partner closely with Investments and Investor Relations to keep diligence, subscriptions, closings and reporting fast and clean

• 5+ years in fund operations or fund finance at a venture or private equity firm, fund administrator, or similar
• Deep familiarity with SPV/fund structures, subscription documents, and capital call mechanics
• High attention to detail and a genuine process-builder mindset — comfortable creating infrastructure from scratch
• Clear communicator who can explain operational and compliance topics to investors and investors' counsel alike

• CPA or equivalent finance/accounting credential
• Experience scaling operations with an investment firm from its early deals through institutional funds

• Base salary: $125,000–$175,000 commensurate with experience and responsibilities
• Variable: Performance bonus; carry/points participation
