Director, Inclusive Entrepreneurship at Candide Group: Remote

The Director, Inclusive Entrepreneurship will focus on the organization’s Inclusive Entrepreneurship impact vertical. The work aims to use capital as a tool for economic justice by expanding opportunities, strengthening local businesses , building generational wealth and supporting entrepreneurs who have historically been excluded from conventional financing.

The successful candidate will contribute to investment sourcing, financial analysis, impact assessment, due diligence, portfolio management and strategic engagement.

The Director will proactively source and evaluate investment opportunities that align with Candide Group’s financial and impact objectives. This will include researching markets, developing an investment pipeline and working with colleagues across different initiatives.

A major part of the position involves financial and impact due diligence
. The Director will assess impact strategies and community needs while conducting underwriting across different asset classes, including venture investments, loan funds, community development financial institutions, private equity and private debt.

The role also requires preparing detailed investment memorandums and presenting findings clearly to investment and client audiences.

The Director may also contribute to the development and potential launch of an Inclusive Entrepreneurship fund or investment vehicle. If such a vehicle is launched, responsibilities could include fundraising, investor engagement, capital deployment and ongoing management.

Another area of responsibility is thought leadership. The successful candidate will monitor market and policy developments related to inclusive entrepreneurship and contribute to quarterly commentaries, impact reports and other communications.

The position also includes representing Candide Group at conferences, industry events and client engagements while developing relationships with prospective investors and other stakeholders.

The Director will support monitoring and performance management of approximately 15–20 active legacy funds within the Inclusive Entrepreneurship vertical.

Working with the investment team, the successful candidate will identify risks, monitor financial and impact performance and ensure timely reporting.

This requires the ability to consider both financial outcomes and broader impact objectives when assessing investments and portfolios.

Candidates are expected to have 7+ years of experience sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities and developing investment pipelines.

Experience in impact investing, venture capital, private equity, private debt, blended capital structures, loan funds or related investment environments can be relevant to the position.
