The Role Are you a strategic thinker who enjoys shaping investment decisions, developing monetization strategies, and using analytics to influence business growth? We are seeking a Commercial Portfolio Strategist to serve as the financial and strategic architect for a high-impact partnership portfolio. In this role, you will evaluate opportunities, build sophisticated financial models, guide portfolio investment decisions, and help drive commercialization strategies that support enterprise growth objectives.

Working closely with business development, product, finance, sales, and partner leaders, you will transform complex market ecosystem, and financial data into actionable recommendations that influence senior leadership decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and has a passion for connecting strategy, analytics, and commercial execution.

Location The professional in this position lives in Washington State and is available to meet with the Team in the Bellevue occasionally and can work from home on a regular basis.

The Main Responsibilities Lead portfolio analysis and prioritization efforts, recommending where to invest, scale, optimize, or exit based on market opportunities, ecosystem trends, and business impact.

Design and evaluate monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, revenue-sharing models, and partner commercial structures.

Build and maintain advanced financial models that reflect consumption-based economics, revenue forecasts, adoption curves, cost-to-serve metrics, and unit economics.

Develop portfolio-level business cases, including market sizing, forecasting, scenario planning, marketplace economics, and partner incentive analysis.

Establish standardized financial assumptions, evaluation methodologies, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency across investment decisions.

Partners with value realization teams to define, align, and track KPIs that measure portfolio performance and strategic outcomes.

Translate complex analyses into executive-ready recommendations, presentations, and decision support materials for senior leadership.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing analytical expertise and financial modeling support for high-priority commercialization initiatives.

What We Look For in a Candidate Eight plus years of experience in portfolio management, corporate strategy, business operations, corporate development, consulting, or related disciplines within large, matrixed organizations.

Expert-level financial modeling expertise with experience building complex business cases, investment analyses, forecasting models, and consumption-based economic models.

Demonstrated success influencing strategic decisions through financial insights, executive-level recommendations, and funded investment decisions.
