Senior Financial Analyst

Henniges Automotive North America, Inc., in Auburn Hills, Michigan, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst. 20% travel, both domestic and international.

Duties:
Analyze financial data, economic trends, regulatory developments, government policies, and political situations to create models, forecast performance, and advise on investment decisions; serve as a key financial liaison between the company, the Board of Directors, shareholders, and external stakeholders by providing advanced financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights; prepare, review, and analyze monthly and periodic financial reporting packages for presentation to Board of Directors, providing interpretation of financial results, key risks, and overall financial health of organization;

apply CICPA accounting standards and other frameworks to review financial reports and provide accounting analysis; perform complex financial and operating analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital planning and executive reviews; review and monitor cash planning and liquidity forecasts, participate in debt restructuring and financing-related analysis, and provide subject-matter expertise on loan-related topics, guarantees, and derivative transactions; and participate in business valuations, enterprise risk assessment, and strategic review activities, including conducting quarterly risk assessment analyses, summarizing key findings, and recommending mitigation actions.

Work from home allowed 3 days per week.

Minimum education required:
Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or Accounting, or foreign equivalent degree. Minimum experience required: 3 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role at an automotive manufacturing tier one supplier. Must have 2 years of work experience with each of the following at an automotive manufacturing tier one supplier: evaluate and validate proposed financial plans, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses, including providing independent analytical assessments to senior leadership;

prepare, interpret, and present executive- and Board-level financial reporting packages, including analysis of financial performance, key risks, and overall financial health; cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and monitor working capital in connection with complex capital structures or financing arrangements; develop and interpret financial models used to support strategic initiatives, enterprise valuation, capital planning, or financing-related analyses; and collaborate with senior management, accounting teams, and external advisors to support governance, financing, or other strategic financial matters.
