We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriter with factoring experience to join our underwriting department.

Job Summary

As a Junior Underwriter, you will be instrumental in evaluating the creditworthiness of prospective clients and determining the risks associated with factoring transactions. The ideal candidate possesses underwriting experience, a comprehensive understanding of factoring, and demonstrates strong analytical and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze client financials—including invoices, accounts receivable, and credit reports to assess eligibility for invoice purchase.
  • Evaluate risks and provide recommendations on credit limits and funding approvals.
  • Verify and validate documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Assist in preparing underwriting reports and present findings to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline client onboarding and ensure prompt funding.
  • Monitor current client portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend necessary actions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements relevant to factoring.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in factoring or accounts receivable financing is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements and credit data.
  • Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools, Microsoft Excel, and CRM platforms.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving results.
