Location: Remote (LATAM)
Schedule: Full-Time (40hrs), Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm EST
Contract:Minimum 3-month contract with the potential for an indefinite extension based on performance.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriter with factoring experience to join our underwriting department.
Job SummaryAs a Junior Underwriter, you will be instrumental in evaluating the creditworthiness of prospective clients and determining the risks associated with factoring transactions. The ideal candidate possesses underwriting experience, a comprehensive understanding of factoring, and demonstrates strong analytical and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze client financials—including invoices, accounts receivable, and credit reports to assess eligibility for invoice purchase.
- Evaluate risks and provide recommendations on credit limits and funding approvals.
- Verify and validate documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in preparing underwriting reports and present findings to senior team members.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline client onboarding and ensure prompt funding.
- Monitor current client portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend necessary actions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements relevant to factoring.
- Prior experience in factoring or accounts receivable financing is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements and credit data.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal teams and clients.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, Microsoft Excel, and CRM platforms.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving results.
