Compliance Officer; Fully Remote

• Pawa Pay is a pan-African fintech simplifying payments for companies and consumers in Africa.
• They facilitate over 4 million transactions a day across 20 countries, making them the largest PSP for mobile money on the continent.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct merchant due diligence, including KYC document verification and risk assessment.
• Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and run sanctions screening on merchants.
• Prepare compliance reports and support internal and external audits.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years in KYC or transaction monitoring, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent English required;
  French desirable. Experience with African markets is a plus.
