Virginia Tax is seeking to hire multiple Tax Auditors in the Northern Virginia area to conduct audits on businesses to determine compliance with Virginia state tax laws, with emphasis on Virginia Sales and Use Tax. The Auditor travels to taxpayer locations as needed and may work from a home-based environment.
The Auditor uses auditing standards to review records, develop audits and assessments, educate taxpayers, and ensure accurate remittance of payments to the Commonwealth.
