You will support AI training by applying practical investment banking judgment to financial research, transaction analysis, valuation modeling, and expert review. The work focuses on checking both numerical accuracy and the strategic logic behind financial materials.
You will also explain complex financial concepts and model assumptions clearly in writing and conversation.
- Research companies and industries to support financial data analysis and AI training.
- Screen buyers or targets and perform comparable company analysis.
- Build, update, and troubleshoot detailed Excel models.
- Review valuation work and transaction models for accuracy and logical consistency.
- Prepare and edit presentation and pitchbook-style materials for transaction scenarios.
- Identify numerical errors, weak strategy, unclear logic, accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, and deal sensitivities.
- Explain how key assumptions affect analytical outcomes.
This is a remote, part-time contractor engagement for an experienced investment banking professional. The role is listed as entry level, but the required work calls for substantial transaction and client-deliverable experience.

Former Senior Associate, preferably in the third year, or Vice President from an M&A or industry-coverage team at a leading investment bank, established M&A boutique, or sector-focused advisory firm.
