HFA Service Specialist II

HFA Service Specialists II provides client relationship building partnerships with Advisor(s) and is responsible for the day-to‑day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation and maintenance of the relationship.

• Day to day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington in terms of establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of the relationship, including the Digital Experience.
• Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and building rapport.
• Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts.
• Works directly with the client and/or relationship manager to obtain financial information or other documentation needed for new accounts, loans and servicing requests.
• Builds an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel, including branch colleagues.
• Researches and resolves complex problems regarding service activities and operational issues.
• Assists the Advisors by processing and maintaining documentation, resolving discrepancies, and preparing for meetings and presentations.
• Prepares various internal reports, memos and correspondence.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems and related technology, Digital Experience, policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience within Investments/Financial Services
• Minimum of 9 months of customer service experience within Investments/Financial Services
• Series 6, Series 63, and Life and Health license

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with investment acumen, including investment products, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with business partners, working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrated high degree of initiative and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and adaptive to change.
