The Entry Level Financial Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Madison, WI, with the ability to perform some responsibilities from home. This role involves meeting with clients to understand their financial goals, analyzing their current financial situations, and developing tailored strategies in areas such as budgeting, protection planning, retirement planning, and wealth accumulation. The advisor will prepare and present financial recommendations, follow up on client decisions, and maintain ongoing relationships through periodic reviews and service updates.

Day-to-day tasks include learning and applying the firm’s financial planning tools, collaborating with senior advisors and specialists, staying current on financial products and regulatory requirements, and participating in training, workshops, and networking activities to build a client base. The role also includes maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and adhering to all compliance and ethical standards of WestPoint Financial Group.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, create basic financial plans, and explain concepts clearly to clients.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, relationship-building, and the ability to present information in a professional and approachable manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; relevant internships, sales experience, or client-facing roles are beneficial.
• Interest in pursuing appropriate financial services and insurance licensing, along with ongoing professional development and industry education.

This role is entreprenurial in nature. The main focus for the entry level Financial Advisor is to participate in supported independence of building a clientele. The role is performance based compensation primarily.
