Position: Invoice Analyst (Financial Transactions Analyst 1)

This position focuses on reviewing and resolving complex invoice processing issues while supporting agencies, vendors, and internal units. As an Invoice Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

  • Issue Resolution:Analyze rejected invoices, research system information, and apply corrections to support proper payment
  • Vendor Assistance:Respond to vendor inquiries and work with agencies to address complex or duplicate invoice situations
  • Payment Processing:Handle check pulls, check traces, ACH recall requests, and major payment confirmations
  • Compliance Review:Verify validity of cancel or reject requests and ensure actions follow established rules and directives
  • Record Management:Maintain clearance certificates, update records, and organize information for payment decisions
  • Communication Support:Prepare responses for Treasury auditors and assist agencies with training on invoice procedures

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available upon completion of the probationary period.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

    The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of experience conducting financial reviews of documents for compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations; and a bachelor’s degree including fifteen credits in finance, business, accounting or closely related field;
    or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes fifteen credits in finance, business, accounting or closely related field.
Additional Requirements:
  • You must have at least 2 years of SAP experience.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
  • Contract or procurement experience
