The Investment Advisor provides holistic financial planning and investment guidance across client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons. You will design and implement portfolio strategies, monitor performance, prepare clear reports, and communicate recommendations. The role includes regular client meetings, proactive outreach, and responsive service, while collaborating with internal partners and staying current on market trends and regulations. You will also help refine advisory processes and tools to enhance client outcomes.

• Build comprehensive, goals-based financial plans and Investment Policy Statements (IPS), translating client objectives into actionable strategies.
• Construct and manage diversified portfolios aligned to IPS, rebalancing with discipline and tax-aware implementation.
• Monitor portfolios, performance, and risk, and provide clear reporting with actionable insights and next steps.
• Conduct regular client reviews and ad hoc touchpoints; document decisions, follow-ups, and outcomes.
  
  Communicate complex concepts in accessible terms; set expectations and provide timely, proactive outreach.
• Coordinate across tax, estate, and legal considerations; partner with internal team members to deliver integrated advice.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and client experience; contribute to best-practice playbooks.
• Meet or exceed firm KPIs for retention, client satisfaction, response SLAs, and planning/IPS delivery timelines, in line with compliance requirements.

• Experience in financial planning and investment advisory, with strong analytical and quantitative skills and sound judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to design and present comprehensive, goals-based financial plans.
• Proficiency in portfolio construction, risk management, and implementation of investment strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Comfort with technology platforms for portfolio management, reporting, client communication, and planning.
• High integrity, client-centric mindset, and ability to thrive in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

• Professional credentials such as CFP or CFA; progress toward these is beneficial.
• Relevant licensure/registration (e.g., Series 65/66 or state Investment Adviser Representative eligibility); clean U4/background.
• Experience serving HNW/UHNW clients and coordinating across trusts, entities, alternatives, and tax considerations.
• Familiarity with modern advisory tech stacks (e.g., eMoney or Money Guide, Addepar or Orion, CRM, custodian platforms).

• Adhere to fiduciary duty, KYC/AML requirements, documentation standards, and risk disclosures.
• Stay current on regulatory developments; implement compliant processes and recordkeeping.
• Uphold firm policies on suitability, best execution, conflicts, and client communications.
