The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a SNAP Program Integrity Coordinator to evaluate, coach, mentor and support County Human Service Zones (HSZ) in administering the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
As the SNAP Program Integrity CoordinatorYou will conduct on-site and off-site management evaluations of HSZ offices. You will review case files providing guidance for program improvements and recognizing where the HSZ is performing well. You will interview clients and staff, in addition to meeting with key stakeholders to provide an overview of what will be done and looked at during the evaluation in addition to providing high level overview findings and corrective action as needed.
Tobe successful in this position
You must have thorough knowledge of SNAP Program, state and federal policies and procedures and desire to collaborate, educate and set others up to succeed. You are able to establish work plans and processes to meet federally mandated time frames and ensure effective, efficient and timely deliverables. You are able to influence and motivate others and are comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint and presenting to groups.
You take the time and effort to explain things clearly, concisely, patiently, and respectfully. You must be able to assess problems and identify creative solutions.
- Graduation from high school or GED and six years of experience at the state or county level administering or determining eligibility for specific Human Service Economic Assistance programs.
- Associates degree and four years of experience at the state or county level administering or determining eligibility for specific Human Service Economic Assistance programs.
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience at the state or county level administering or determining eligibility for specific Human Service Economic Assistance programs.
Child Care Assistance Program, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, ACA & Non-ACA Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
LocationThis position may work from anywhere within the state of North Dakota. Travel a couple times per year to Human Service Zones within the state is required.
