The Senior Staff Contracts Management representative works under the Radars, Electronic Warfare & Acoustic Systems (REAS) Market Segment, primarily supporting the Airborne Radars Portfolio. The role manages contracts, negotiates directly with U.S. Government customers (including U.S. Navy, DLA, and other branches), reviews customer proposals, offers alternate approaches to mitigate risks, maintains communication with cross‑functional organizations, ensures compliance with contractual obligations, and presents to internal and external stakeholders.
BasicQualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills; effective in a dynamic team environment and building relationships with Customers.
- Experience with U.S. Government and commercial Terms & Conditions across the contract life cycle, including proposals and administration.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS and commercial Intellectual Property terms and licenses.
- Ability to make effective presentations to senior management and customers.
- Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong business acumen, recognizing risk elements, providing governance to program teams.
- Commercial contract drafting experience and experience with various contract types and contracting vehicles.
- Ability to develop customer relationships, provide RFP shaping/analysis, and participate in proposal development and bid strategy.
- Knowledge of contract types: CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA.
- Ability to work independently, task‑oriented, and with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional strategic communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation, persuading and motivating action.
- Knowledge of Government property management, data rights, and proposals.
- Complete understanding and application of Government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
Government security clearance required:
Top Secret. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
Salary range varies by location (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC). Additional ranges apply for other states.
